Let's Rock the Red!
I hope you are as excited as I am about the 10th annual Cedar Valley Go Red for Women Luncheon! This year’s theme is Rock the Red. The red dress has been a national symbol of heart disease awareness for women since 2003. Today, when someone wears something with confidence and enthusiasm to great effect, she “rocks it.” When someone does extremely well at something, she doesn’t just win, she “rocks.” I have had the honor of working with rockin’ women who are heartfelt and passionate in raising awareness about the No. 1 killer of women — heart disease. Each of them has a story about what drives them in their “rock”-solid dedication. Ask them to share their stories with you and, please, share yours with us.
Take the opportunity to learn more about what we can do to live healthier, live longer and live happier. Join us in our mission to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent while reducing deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent by the year 2020. Together we can make a difference. Together we can win the fight against heart disease and stroke.
Cedar Valley women don’t simply wear red, we rock it.
Register to attend today! Join us for fun, learning, networking, pampering and inspiration. I hope you learn something new, are inspired to change your world for the better and meet a few new friends to add to your circle.
Are YOU ready to Rock the Red?
