Dr. Linda Lee

Iowa City Heart Clinic

Linda Lee, MD, FACC is a clinical cardiologist and Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Heart and Vascular Center.   Dr. Lee is a graduate of University of Michigan School of Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed a residency in internal medicine, and a fellowship in both Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at University of Michigan.  Dr. Lee is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, and a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Lee was the long-time president of Iowa City Heart Center and director of both the Coronary Artery Disease Service and Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.  She joined the UI Heart and Vascular Center in 2015.   A highly regarded clinician and champion of heart health for the residents of Iowa, Dr. Lee has held many leadership, education, and advocacy roles in the community. She is active in the American Heart Association’s Mission Lifeline, a program to help identify gaps that lead to slower and less effective care during a heart attack; and an enthusiastic supporter of Go Red for Women.
