Linda Bowman, Director of Public Relations
Western Home Communities
Linda is the Director of Public Relations at Western Home Communities in Cedar Falls. She previously worked for fifteen years as an award-winning television news reporter and anchor in Missouri, Arkansas and Iowa, working at KWWL from 1992 until 2000. She’s married to Denny and they have two boys.
Linda credits the Go Red movement with helping her mother survive a heart attack in 2006. At the insistence of Linda and her father, her mother went to the doctor after suffering pain down her arm overnight. It wasn’t the usual crushing chest pain that many men experience, but Linda knew from attending Go Red luncheons that women’s symptoms are often different.
