We know how much time, commitment and sacrifice you have put into making the Cedar Rapids Heart Ball the best it can be. We are pleased to share that as we adjust to these unprecedented times and continue to move our mission forward, the Heart Ball will now be a digital experience with music provided by The Pork Tornadoes.
Digital Emcees:
Clare Duffy - Wife and Mother of two daughters from Williamsburg, Iowa. A Mt. Mercy University graduate who has lived in Cedar Rapids ever since. From her Z102.9 intern days to being the Morning Show producer of Schulte & Swan, Clare eventually worked her way to becoming the co-host of The Morning Scramble.
Eric Hanson - The logical local. Husband and dog owner. Travel back in time and you'll discover he was part of the team that launched Z102.9. Named Radio Ink's "Program Director of the Year" twice. Eric loves his Hawkeyes and loves that he met his uber hip wife of 20+ years, Shannon, in the Hawkeye Marching Band. Enjoys life's experiences, travel, and theater.
2021 Heart Ball Heart Survivor:
Kaden Rogers - Is our 11 years old heart survivor from Tiffin, Iowa. He was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Kaden's parents are Jennifer and Tim Rogers. They are part of the amazing Cedar Rapids Heart Ball Leadership Team. They have three children and excited to help raise awareness and funds to help out kiddos like their Kaden!
